Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My love of music has been an integral part of my life; I learned to play the guitar as a child, singing on every stage I could. It’s not a memory of mine but my mom loves to tell me this anecdote: 1 year old Wileyn wiggling to Zouk on the car!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jackson Wang, MAGICMAN 2 Michael Jackson, Dangerous (Remastered) [Extra Tracks] YUNGBLUD, Idols I grew up inspired by Michael Jackson’s musicality. Dangerous is my favorite album of all time. On the other hand, YUNGBLUD and Jackson Wang’s vulnerability and raw emotions are great inspirations to me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Heart Bleed” Heart Bleed is my first single as WILEYN. This song was inspired by the complicated relationship I had with my older sister. The words I never had the chance to tell, the ugliest emotions that I kept secret turned into beauty, turned into music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? To me, the most memorable moments are the first time I made my parents listen to my music, signing with Rexius Records & being able to release my first two singles with them and now going back to being independent!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Performing at Coachella has always been one of my dreams. But first, I want to release my first EP in 2026. My main goal is to be able to share my messages through music for as long as possible.
