In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Going to a guitar store, picking up some guitar that has flames on it. And asking "how do you make this sound metal?" It was 2006, I was an 11 year old listening to Linking Park, Emo and Nu Metal at the time.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alice In Chains, Dirt (Remastered) Morbid Angel, Covenant Nine Inch Nails, The Downward Spiral Explicit Version Not only are these 3 of my favorite albums, but also the core inspiration to my sound and performance. All of these by individuals that are creative, chaotic, and has a darkness that is sultry. When I seriously play music, these are the genes of me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Even though I've been playing music long before I started Will Grudge; when I finished my first single "Burn" I felt like I could actually make music I really care about. It's like "Damn, I could sing, I can write a good riff, I can express myself."
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Will Grudge may not be the most trendy and fashionable thing in the scene, but so what. My bucket list is to make more songs, grow as a songwriter/musician, create a legacy, have badass performances, and speak on the real things that matter.
