Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Belting Usher’s "My Way" in the living room at 8 behind the pillow until and my sister called out my vocals like Simon Cowell. It was a moment. Add in my BMG catalog addiction, ordering albums like I had a record label, and yeah… pure childhood gold.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Musiq Soulchild, Juslisen Omarion, 21 (Bonus Video Version) USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) These albums were the soundtrack to my life as I began finding my voice as an artist and songwriter. Epic music, meaningful connections, they helped shape how I see and express the world around me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Alive” This was my most vulnerable song and almost didn’t make the album. At the time, my wife encouraged me to release it, and it’s become the most impactful for my listeners. Sharing it has been truly healing.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moments for me were when I began creating music that sparked a shift in mindset during the early days of my faith journey. Those moments where my art makes an impact will always hold a special place in my heart.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to headline a tour with some of my R&B heroes and share the good news of God whilst doing it! Just imagine a R&B-dedicated world tour that gives homage to the genre and its greats, while inviting others to live an AWOL lifestyle with God.
