Slovakia's Within Silence are a power/prog metal band born from the ashes of Rightdoor in 2014 by lead vocalist Martin Klein and guitarist/backing vocalist Richard Germanus. Their intensely crafted sound melds hooky, driving dual guitars, hyperactive power drumming, and a thudding, pronounced active bassline. Their debut album, Gallery of Life, was released through the Swedish label Ulterium Records in 2015 (where they remain). They followed with Return from the Shadows in 2017. After a massive tour and the COVID-19 pandemic, personnel changes left Germanus and Klein the only remaining original members. This later incarnation released The Eclipse of Worlds in December 2024.
