Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. “Our earliest memory together goes back to Lachlan’s 21st. He was a fan of Annoying Neighbours and asked us to play his party. We got him to bring his drum kit and set it up next to ours. Our first double-drum night. Soon after, he joined the band.”
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Nonagon Infinity Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, High Visceral, Pt. 1 Thee Oh Sees, Mutilator Defeated At Last These are all albums / artists who have shaped our musical output as a group.

It was our first release as WIZZ after changing our name from Annoying Neighbours, and it marked the start of a new era with a sharper, more defined sound."
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? “Shooting the music video for ‘Come and Say Hi’ was a blast. Alex, our bassist, directed it and we had a huge crew helping out. Such a fun experience from start to finish.”
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? “We’d love to play at the Princess Theatre one day. It’s our favourite venue in Brisbane and definitely a bucket-list stage for us.”
