Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I will never forget the time my sister came home with 3 jazz CD's (remember those?). Art Blakey, A Night In Tunisia, Chat Baker Sings and Plays and Billie Holiday Lady In Satin. The sounds, rhythm and lyrics, opened a whole new world of music for me!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Billie Holiday, Lady in Satin The Centennial Edition Carlos Kleiber, Wiener Philharmoniker, Brahms: Symphony No. 4 Horace Silver & The Jazz Messengers, Horace Silver and the Jazz Messengers These 3 albums represent everything I LOVE about music; storytelling, rhythm and sounds. Lady In Satin emphasizes storytelling, Horace Silver brings his rhythmic, playful style and Brahms always moves me with his lush sounds of the orchestra.
