Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My older sister showed me how to play chords. I remember learning to play the chord progression for Michael Jackson's "We Are The World" when I was 7 years old.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Earl Sweatshirt, Doris Future, DS2 (Deluxe) Lana Del Rey, Ultraviolence (Deluxe) Deluxe Version Personal preference, intense sampling and mind bending lyrics. These albums encapsulate the true influences on my sound today, and I don't listen to much else. I also like J.Cole's "4 Your Eyez Only".
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Old Money” Everyone's favorite Young Wazi song, and the song that made them take me seriously. Old Money is first actual song on "Mirrorman". The beat and the message behind the song are so dark, I love it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Most people didn't pay attention when I started rapping. They knew me as a producer first, but my pen-game has been ill since i was little. After seeing me perform live, The doubters realized this is for real.
