Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As early as I could remember, I have always had a love for Afro-Rave music and the art of making people move to the dance floor. One of the acts that gave me the love for Afro-Rave music was Rema. The first Afro-Rave song I listened to was Lady.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Rema, RAVAGE - EP Rema, Rave & Roses Shallipopi, Presido La Pluto I personally chose these 3 albums in particular because they are a piece of art which makes you move or dance relentlessly. I chose them because they talk a lot about personality and being free to do what you want in life.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Obaahemaa (feat. Tulenkey)” Anytime I listen to Obaahemaa it reminds me of my Crush. And it makes me feel so happy that I could talk about my feelings in it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I won Next Rated Honors for Ep of the year(Flowers & Rings Ep). And I won Collaboration Of The Year(obaahemaa ft Tulekey) at the Wedeybreed Awards, Ghana's version of People's Choice Awards.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, I would love to collaborate with Rema cause he's my idol and I look up to him, his music's moves you and would make you believe in yourself. I would also like to have a Europe Tour someday or lemme say anytime soon.Amen!
