About Zac Farro
Zac Farro is likely best known as a co-founder and former and current member of Paramore, but he’s established himself as a solo artist under the name HalfNoise as well. He first shot to fame as the drummer in Paramore, a key band in a new wave of pop-punk acts in the late 2000s. His at-times rocky tenure with the group -- departing the line-up after 2010’s Brand New Eyes but rejoining in 2017 for After Laughter -- established a parallel track with a slightly sharper-edged solo project called HalfNoise, with which he’s released a handful of albums and EPs including Sudden Feeling (2016), The Velvet Face (2017), Flowerss (2018), and City Talk (2023).
