Producer-turned-artist Zayde Wølf—born Dustin Burnett—is an indie-pop singer-songwriter known for his lyrically upbeat songs.
∙ Prior to his solo career, Wølf fronted new wave rock band The October and was featured on the CMJ Artist Showcase bill in 2006.
∙ Burnett’s solo project began when he successfully sent demos to a licensing company under his alter ego, Zayde Wølf—the boy’s name he and his wife had picked out for their unborn child.
∙ Credited as a producer, Burnett was nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best Contemporary Christian Music Song (2013) and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album (2015).
∙ His 2018 single “Gladiator” went viral following the release of the video series Find Your Inner Gladiator, which featured courageous fan-inspired stories.
