Malayalam composer Anil Johnson puts together a neat three-track OST for “Aadhi”—an action thriller starring Pranav Mohanlal in his leading man debut. The talented star even gets behind the mic for the first time, lending his laid-back vocals to “Gypsy Woman”—a soft rock composition with lashings of guitars and a live, energetic feel. Full of traditional Indian percussion and soaring strings, “Sooryane” mesmerises in a similar vein. Johnson closes out the album with the warm “Piriyum Naam”, another easy, drifting listen complete with a soothing piano melody.
