Bob Geldof organized an all-star cast for the 1984 recording of “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” to raise funds for famine-releif efforts in Ethiopia. On the 30th anniversary of the release, the musician/philanthropist reworked the song to support West African nations in their fight against the Ebola virus. This alternate version of Geldof’s 2014 recording includes performances from local musicians like Renaud, Joey Starr, Vanessa Paradis, Benjamin Biolay, ZAZ, Tété, Yodelice, Thomas Dutronc, Carla Bruni, Nicolas Sirkis, Louis Bertignac, Yannick Noah, Christophe Willem, Louane, Yarol Poupaud, Rachid Taha, Jean-Louis Aubert, Mat BAstard, Guizmo, Bob Geldof, Les Plastiscines, Richard Kolinka, Amandine Bourgeois.
