These two tracks were taken from Johnny Ramone’s last known recording sessions. Initially, they appeared on The Swing Cats’ 2000 album A Special Tribute to Elvis. The Swing Cats feature The Stray Cats’ rhythm section Lee Rocker on acoustic bass and Slim Jim Phantom on drums, with Danny B. Harvey on guitar. For the A-side, “Good Rockin’ Tonight,” Motörhead leader Lemmy Kilmister guests on lead vocals for a grisly rendition, while Johnny Ramone plays rhythm guitar. Ramone is also on the B-side, an instrumental version of “Viva Las Vegas.” Other credited guests include Kathy Valentine of The Go-Go's and Michael Des Barres.
