In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Gumi Yamato's music is based on the Japanese pop music of the 60s and disco music of the 70s that influenced his father, Massan. And its sound is based on the American and British pop music of the 90s that influenced his son Yuya.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Boney M., Love for Sale Spice Girls, Spice 歐陽菲菲, Golden Best Lovely melody, cool arrangement, fun concept. We have selected three albums that offer all of these things and more.

Tell us why you chose this song. “ヨザクラサクラ” This is the first piece that I, Massan, created with my son, Yuya, as the music unit Gumi Yamato. It is a memorable debut work that was selected as a “Featured Track” on Apple Music at the time of its release. It's my treasure!
