Singer Ilektra Platiopoulou has a wide range of specialties, including Baroque music, mainstream Italian and French opera, and traditional music from Greece, Celtic lands, and Scandinavia. Partly trained in Switzerland, Platiopoulou holds a master's degree from the Schola Cantorum in Basel. She has been active with the multinational group The Curious Bards and toured widely across Europe with that ensemble. With The Curious Bards, she has recorded several albums, including Sublimation (2025).
