An American hard rock/heavy metal outfit fronted by horror film and television director/writer/producer Adam Green (Frozen, Digging Up the Marrow, Hatchet, Holliston), Haddonfield were founded in the late '90s in Green's hometown of Boston. Citing influences like the Black Dahlia Murder, Carnifex, All Shall Perish, and Fit for an Autopsy, the band enjoyed some regional success, but was eventually relegated to a side project when Green's film career took off in the mid-2000s. In early 2017 Green decided to resurrect the band, and created the label imprint Ariescope Records. With distribution, marketing, and manufacturing being handled by Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson's EMP Label Group, Haddonfield released the concert LP Ghosts of Salem, a live recording from the classic band era, later that October. ~ James Christopher Monger
