In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I saw The Beatles Come together video on Turkish tv "TRT" i decided to be a musician. I used to lay down in my room and listen to Revolver album over and over again...
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Barış Manço, Barış Manço Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Pierre Boulez, The Cleveland Orchestra, Stravinsky: L'Oiseau de feu, Petrouchka The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) The Beatles encouraged me to be musician Stravinsky Petrouchka ballet music in my opinion, the best orchestral music ever Barış Manço(also my namesake) and Kurtalan ekspres were our musical idol in Türkiye and expressed all the musicians around me
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Aklımdan Çıkmıyor” This song tells about a mistery love story. I always wanted to have a guitar solo piece like Guns&Roses November Rain. Aklımdan Çıkmıyor has 2 guitar solo parts in the middle and at the final section. And ı guess it kills it like Slash!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We had a tour in Australia including 2 concerts in Melbourne and Sidney. We've been there with one of the most iconic artists, Cem Karaca. We played in 2 amazing theaters and Cem Karaca featured and sang one song on stage. That was like a dream...
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am in a restart mood. I had a rock origin music mind. And I am turning it to an electronic sound. There are so many songs written by me waiting for releases. I will publish them with atmos sound with 2 months breaks and be on stage forever..
