In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I'm a late starter, mainly self-taught. I remember playing "Bohemian Rhapsody" for my fellow janitors at a high school summer job. I was concentrating so hard that I slobbered, which, in some strange way, gave me authenticity.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Art Lande, Rubisa Patrol, Desert Marauders Chick Corea, Now He Sings, Now He Sobs Remastered Joe Henderson, Double Rainbow: The Music of Antonio Carlos Jobim It's impossible to settle on three all-time favorites, but these three are the first that come to mind; I pretty much wore them out. Three great jazz pianists (Herbie Hancock is on the Joe Henderson record) in three very different musical settings.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Humble Origins” If I had to pick my favorite composition, it would probably be this one, which has been covered by a couple of bands since my own release came out.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time my trio toured South America, we played eight cities in Peru and nine in Brazil. The venues ranged from concert halls to a miners' social club in an isolated mountain town, and everywhere we went the people were amazing.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've been really fortunate to play with great musicians in nice venues (not always, but often). The only thing left is a bucket list of musicians I'd like to work with, and that list is too long to fit here.
