In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory must be when I heard my grandparents play as a child. My grandfather sung bass in the local choir, and played the organ. My grandmother played the acoustic guitar aswell, and they would always play some folk for me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brian Eno, Harold Budd, The Pearl C2C, Tetra Ólafur Arnalds, some kind of peace These album has had a big impact on me in their own way. Tetra opened up my world for sampling, and the bridge between organic and electronic music making. The Pearl was my introduction to Brian Eno's philosophy around making music and its meaning.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “20:17” This is a song I cant get enough of. The intimacy of the piano, with the organic noises and quirks makes it so personal. The soundscape is amazing craftsmanship and gives me goosebumps every. single. time.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment so far is seeing that I had 1500 monthly listeners. That was big for me, and I hope to get more moments like that in the future!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to collaborate with more artists, and get my name out there. I just quit my job as a teacher to do this full time, so everything from getting a good fanbase to playing live and meeting like minded people would be great.
