Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. C Scharp isn’t just an artist—he’s a sound architect straight out of Lawrence, MA, and one of the key names behind the rise of 978 Dancehall.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alicia Keys, The Diary of Alicia Keys USHER, Usher Wyclef Jean, Wyclef Jean presents The Carnival featuring Refugee Allstars Known for blending pain, melody, and Caribbean rhythm into something raw and relatable, his music hits different because it’s rooted in lived experience. Coming up alongside the late Nawlage 2k5, C Scharp helped carve out a new lane that reimagined..

Tell us why you chose this song. “Open” .. old-school reggae riddims with trap drums, emotional hooks, and unapologetic storytelling. Their joint tracks like “Just Curious” and “21 Plus” became underground staples, laying the foundation for a regional wave that refuses to be boxed in.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Most memorable experiences come from working with artists & producers I grew up listening to. Such as Bun B, Paul Wall, Layzie Bone, SkyZoo and Reks. On production working with DJ Statik Selektah, Dame Grease, Jon Glass, Termanology and many more
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Be nominated for a Grammy for Songwriting or Production. I also still have yet to tour overseas. I know a lot of people in the UK listen to my music and I'd love to eventually touch down for a few shows.
