Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is singing in church on James Island in Charleston, SC. There weren't any instruments, just voices. I remember hearing the harmonies and seeing the joy that it brought to everyone.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Herbie Hancock, The New Standard Itzhak Perlman, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Brahms: Violin Sonatas Nos. 1-3 & 4 Hungarian Dances Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life •The very first CD I owned was Herbie Hancock's "The New Standard". •In my opinion, the Itzhak Perlman (with Ashkenazy) recording of the Brahms Violin Sonatas is the best recording of these pieces. •Songs in The Key of Life is a masterclass!!!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment of my career is when I spent the afternoon in the studio with Stevie Wonder recording a new song. Watching him work was great because he was very humble and willing to try various approaches to achieve the sound he wanted.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have so many things that I would like to do. One of my biggest goals would be to write music for a major motion picture film score. Maybe one day...
