In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Like every kid who grew up in the 90s, I recall going to “the beat goes on” (a used CD/record shop in Canada) and picking up a used, beat up copy of Blink 182’s “Dude Ranch”. Played that thing on my Walkman on repeat. My childhood heroes.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bombay Bicycle Club, I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose Jungle Fire, Tropicoso Leif Vollebekk, North Americana (Deluxe) These have all had profound impacts on my understanding of music, both as a writer and a producer.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Moss” I was on the west coast of Canada, away from home in a pandemic solitude- fall of 2020. I quickly realized how uncomfortable it was to be so isolated without the distraction of the internet or some other digital convenience of modernity.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Although Calm Canopy has been a solo effort since 2020, I have been working with a band to help me turn the studio recordings into live performances that are unique from the recordings. We're excited to start playing shows this year.
