In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 2021, I decided to become the artist that I am; DJ AURAS JOSH. After years of being told I wasn’t good enough, I proved that I was worthy to headline festivals, clubs, and be in the same room as my peers.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Krewella, Get Wet Lady Gaga, ARTPOP Lady Gaga, Chromatica My top 3 all-time albums are Get Wet by Krewella, Chromatica and ARTPOP by Lady Gaga. These albums have made me the person I am. To finding myself again with Chromatica, Raging to Get Wet by Krewella, or exploring my aura with ARTPOP.

Tell us why you chose this song. “TURN THE LIGHTS OUT” My debut EP “DISTINCTION” is filled with heavy hitting, rage filled, techno dropping, trance, metal + chiptune ear-worms that has been in my head for years. This new EP not only has a piece of my AURA, but establish my distinction between my peers.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to start my career in the festival/club scene. In 2021, I hit the ground running by leaving my mark in the United States all over the country. By me doing this, I was able to be a main stage performer at many LGBTQIA+ pride events.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to travel to different countries with my music and spread love with one beat at a time. I am a force to be reckoned with, and one day you’ll see my name at festivals worldwide.
