Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem (aka the Electric Mayhem) are the unruly house band for Jim Henson's long-running puppet dynasty the Muppets. Debuting in 1975 -- the members were based on prominent rock and jazz performers of the time -- the Electric Mayhem have appeared in various Muppet films and television specials, and on albums, since the mid-'70s. In 2023, they solidified their place in "the Muppetverse" with their own TV series, The Muppets Mayhem.
