Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Ganjor's journey to becoming a musician began when he was just 15 years old. He seized an opportunity to perform in front of his entire school, and his electrifying performance left his schoolmates cheering and throwing books in the air.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burna Boy, African Giant J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive Kabaka Pyramid, The Kalling Because they are all diverse and they talk about real life experiences. They are all real in what they do. They are just being themselves rather than selling out
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Nairobi Love” Because it describes my city that I was born and raised in. It blends Afro, Latin, and Hip Hop beats to create a truly hybrid album that will appeal to both African and international music lovers.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting airplay for my previous project on NRG Radio and Vibez Radio in Kenya. Performing gigs in Nairobi.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Lots! To start promoting my new album both in Kenya, Africa and the world. To play major festivals worldwide. To learn how to play the guitar. I would love to have a full live band behind me at my live performances.
