In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As an infant my dad, who was an excellent guitar player, would take me to jam sessions with his friends. I was lain in front of his amp and always knew his sound.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Howard Roberts Quartet, This Is Howard Roberts Color Him Funky "Color Him Funky" (Howard Roberts )was the first music I remember hearing. "For Django" is something I still listen to regularly. Here's to Life (Shirley Horn) made me want to arrange like Johnny Mandel.
