O umělci Jay2Alias
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My mother would always sing to us as kids, and some of my earliest memories was going with her or my uncle to the studio and watching them record music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Drake, Views
Kanye West, Graduation
Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version)
Growing up in Washington D.C I was heavily influenced by hip hop and R&B. A lot of Midwest/ Southern rappers and R&B groups/Solo acts. Graduation is one of my earliest hip hop memories played by my father as we would drive around.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Feel Alive”
I wrote this song in a place of vulnerability, after finding out what I know now and it feels more a part of my musical journey than anything else.
