In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 8 years old, my parents signed me up for guitar lessons. I never did my homework and my teacher was always mad at me. The school organised a concert to show our parents our progress. They were so embarrassed and I quitted guitar for years.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Arcade Fire, The Suburbs Pixies, Surfer Rosa (2007 Remaster) Yo La Tengo, Painful These 3 in particular represent everything that came after for myself. The punk attitude and psychedelic lyrics from the Pixies, the beautiful textures and tones from YLT and the simple harmonies but amazing production and storytelling from AF.

Spending the summer in the city, working and sweating, I was in my living room hearing how some kids were playing Marco Polo in the pool, and I started to remember about my summers as a kid.
