In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad sent me to my room because I kept singing Foreigner's "Feels like the first time." Double Vision was the first record I had ever purchased and I was all in. When I started drums, my parents never complained about the noise. Quite amazing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Sting, The Soul Cages The Police, Synchronicity (Remastered 2003) U2, The Joshua Tree Remastered Loved the writing, sounds, variety, and energy of the Police. I love the deep emotional content and soundscapes in the Sting album, and U2 really created a masterpiece with The Joshua Tree. Also, they were the soundtrack of my youth.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rising” My first single, Rising is special to me. A free cello solo (Dan Lawonn) starts the piece, creating a cool vibe that transitions into a chill groove with fresh jazz chords. It speaks to our desire to finally go after that thing rising within us.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After high school I toured the world with a musical group that stayed with host families and put on a broadway style show. In Italy, I sang a popular love song "E tu," and the crowds went nuts in every city. An amazing feeling of connection.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to build an amazing fan base and play Red Rocks someday in the next 10 years.
