In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember having my first piano lesson with my Mum at the age of four. Mum taught piano and I would often sit at the piano and making up small tunes. In the end, I managed to persuade her to start giving me some lessons!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Martha Argerich, Liszt: Sonata in B Minor and Hungarian Rhapsody, Schumann: Sonata No. 2 & Brahms: Rhapsodies, Op. 79 Mitsuko Uchida, Mozart: The Piano Sonatas Víkingur Ólafsson, Track by Track Commentary: Víkingur Ólafsson on Mozart & Contemporaries I adore the interpretations of both Mitsuko Uchida and Vikingur Olafsson. They play Mozart with such clarity and Argerich really understands the romantic style of Liszt!
