Born and raised in the Toronto area, this musician was influenced by a Pete Seeger concert he attended with his parents at the age of eight. From there, he continued his passion for music, mastering various instruments and styles. In 1998, he released his debut album, One Way Down, which received airplay and praise from local and national media. In 2000, his Tangle With the Ghost record was the most played Canadian folk album of the year. The same year saw him win the Songs From the Heart songwriting competition. When not on the road, Nash also operates a children's overnight camp in Central Ontario, performing at campfires for the children. In 2002, Nash released Lo-Fi Northern Blues on Thin Man Records. His touring schedule has seen him perform in Canadian and the United States, particularly the Eastern seaboard. ~ Jason MacNeil
