In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember dancing and singing along to records of The Doors, Queen and Jimi Hendrix in my living room as a kid. I could feel their spirits moving me and I knew that I was destined to make my own music and tell my story through the power of music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fleet Foxes, Fleet Foxes Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blood Sugar Sex Magik The Doors, The Doors Each of these albums changed me forever once I heard them. I feel like they defined the artists perfectly. I can still go back and listen to these records from beginning to end and recapture the feelings I had when I heard them for the first time.

I let my guard down when I wrote it. In comes from a yearning for humanity. And it changed my life because it has connected me with so many people through it's message.
