A French rockabilly revival band, Les Vagabonds made its recording debut in 1986 with the single "Reviens-Moi." The band's second single, "Le Temps des Yéyés," topped the French singles chart in 1990. Amid this wave of break-out success, les Vagabonds released their debut album, Nos Plus Belles Années (1990). Les Fous du Succès (1991) spawned a round of minor hits. Successive albums and singles continued to mark a sharp downturn in the band's popularity, and the best-of collection,Le Meilleur des Vagabonds, released in 1995, ultimately signaled their demise. ~ Jason Birchmeier
