What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Antônio Carlos Jobim, Wave Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Remastered Slum Village, Fan-Tas-Tic, Vol. 2 These are my landmarks of groove (Fan-Tas-Tic), effortless skill on the instrument (Wave) and seamless sequencing that completely emerges you into the artists narrative (What's Going On). Chill on the surface, but incredibly deep once you dig in.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Carombola” I love the wonky acoustic drums, Waywell's pitched down guitar masquerading as a bass and three octaves of the same riff cascading into this huge wall of sound. Also, my piano breakdown recorded with iPhone from this old Petrof upright. Very vintage.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to produce and arrange a few jazz hop records with band and string section and on the side a chart topping single that gets synced the shit out of. Those could be my artistic legacy and my pension fund.
