The chart-topping French producer with the goofy smile and quirky videos.
Životopis interpreta
Martin Solveig’s quirky dance pop overflows with outsized personality. Born in Paris in 1976, Solveig got his start in the city’s house scene, crafting percussive DJ tools alongside Bob Sinclar as Africanism, then exploring deep house and bluesy funk on his 2002 debut album, Sur la terre. But his music began growing poppier with songs like 2009’s spunky “Boys & Girls,” and with 2010’s “Hello,” he landed a bona fide crossover smash that reached from indie-dance clubs to EDM festival main stages. A stint in the producer’s chair on Madonna’s 2012 album, MDNA, confirmed Solveig’s versatility and, in the years since, he’s continued to deliver some of the most boisterous pop-dance hooks around.
