In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My earliest musical recollection was learning to play guitar from an old man named Carl Downey at our small church. Between Sunday morning and evening service he would stay and teach me chords and how to strum.
What are your top three all-time favorite albums on Apple Music and why?
Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, Waylon & Willie
Merle Haggard, Down Every Road 1962-1994
Colter Wall, Little Songs
I love three albums: “Willie and Waylon” (1978) for its unique songs, “Down Every Road” (1996) by Merle Haggard for its diverse life stories, and “Little Songs” (2023) by Colter Wall for its cowboy songs that evoke nostalgia.

I was told, after we wrote it, that it was too dark for people to like. Knowing it was the direction I wanted my music to go, I walked away from Warner Music label to release this and I'm proud of that decision.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I opened for Charlie Daniels. Despite rain, we waited to meet him. Initially dismissed, Charlie invited us onboard, insisting on meeting anyone who knocked. This left a deep impression.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I don't really have a musical bucket list, my goal is to make good music and let the chips of that fall where they may
