In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My family has been worshiping together as far back as I can remember. My parents led worship and I would come to practices before church on Sunday. I loved the ones where I could dance. Most of those old songs have stuck with me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Relient K, Forget and Not Slow Down Thrice, The Alchemy Index, Vol. 3 & 4: Air & Earth Underoath, They're Only Chasing Safety These albums hit at a time when I was going through it with God. I had the CDs and listened to them on repeat for days or weeks at a time. There's real heart that comes through in these albums and they stand as the ideal music for me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. This was my first solo recording endeavor. It had sat on my phone as a demo for years, slowly taking shape, but the third verse didn't pop out until we were in the studio, tracking vocals. The Spirit breathed so much life on it as we recorded it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd still love to do some live recordings of our worship sets. There's a dynamic of worship that a studio recording can't capture. The full engagement of heartfelt worship in the Body of Christ is incredible.
