In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I discovered the hypnotic sound of electronic music in the late 70’s when introduced to “Oxygène” by Jean-Michel Jarre’s. Music became a kind of sound-healing for me and in 2022 I released my first new album in four decades; “Flow State Journeys”.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jean-Michel Jarre, Oxygene Trilogy Mike Oldfield, Ommadawn Tangerine Dream, Tangram (Remastered) Remastered One of my all-time favorite albums, although more acoustic than electronic, is side one of Mike Oldfield’s “Ommadawn” because of its story-telling quality and the intricate interactions of rhythms and voice. Another is "Tangram" by Tangerine Dream.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Vortex” In 2002 I mastered earlier music to create “The Wizards’ Fool”, Vortex being one of my favorites with its shifting soundscapes reminiscent of the Jarre, and “Shahairizon”, a new piece in 2002, my first since the ‘80s and the first to use my voice.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2020 I returned to jamming electronic music through the COVID years, and without realizing it, by 2022 I had three new albums worth of new music starting with “Flow State Journeys”. And most memorably, I played my first LIVE concert in 2022.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? In college I dreamed of producing a live multimedia stage show extravaganza with an inspirational message of personal and global healing. Over four decades later I am now working on that dream with the message of An Optimist’s Path through Cynicism.
