In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting in the back seat of my mother's green Renault, watching the stars outside the window, listening to tapes of Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and Bobby Bare. I didn't understand the stories yet, but the music told a story of its own to me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris de Burgh, Spanish Train And Other Stories Eric Serra, Léon (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Melody Gardot, My One and Only Thrill Deluxe Version Chris de Burgh was introduced to me in my late teens, and I totally fell for his storytelling. I still look to it for inspiration. Léon was for years my go to music for concentration and study. I just love the vibe. Melody Gardot: Just amazing.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Final Goodbye” This song was written the night my mother passed away. Just being in the room with her and remembering who she was, before dementia set in. It feels like the goodbye I couldn't give her while she was with us.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My album release concert in the Victoria National Jazzscene in Oslo in April 24, featuring a string ensemble and the pianist and producer on my album, Ivan Blomqvist.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Being part of something bigger and contributing to events that will help people.
