In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was still in pre-school, I would play on my father's keyboard and sound out notes by humming songs. I had a love of music, probably from the womb. I remember my choir teachers and directors always pointing out my keen sense of pitch.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2NE1, To Anyone Britney Spears, ...Baby One More Time Maroon 5, Songs About Jane I've been influenced by so many musical styles throughout my life, with different phases dedicated to genres from all around the world. I hope my music reflects the rich tapestry of sounds and cultures I've grown to love and immerse myself in.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Go Check Yourself” It's my favorite original where I pour my heart out about a friendship gone wrong. This helped bring me the closure I needed.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first breakout in the music scene was when Owol reposted my cover (Oppa). Before then, I created music to relieve stress. My dear friend Hana also encouraged me to post more by creating beautiful artwork for the first set of singles.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Many. I'd like another song to go viral, and I'd like to collaborate with an inspirational artist/producer on a track.
