In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Improvising with the piano, I was a child and very curious about the sound. The piano was my first laboratory.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Barbara Hannigan, Reinbert de Leeuw, Satie: Socrate David Toop, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Garden of Shadows and Light Kronos Quartet, Laurie Anderson, Landfall It is very difficult to choose 3 albums, I have no favorites...but If I have to pic a few, I love sound collages, and my favourite instruments are cello and piano. I love simple songs.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Los Vínculos” It is the song named as the entire album. This music, that happened few years ago, is a reflection of who I am today, it shows the hybridizations, the collages, the superposed temporal moments, and my love for classical music as well.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? that moment did not have a precise time, but something important happened when I realized that my universe was shaped not only by music but also by other arts, such as poetry and dance.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To continue the research process of the crossovers between the sound of acoustic instruments and technology, in order to create new universes.
