Puzzle Muteson is the alter ego of Terry Magson, an English singer/songwriter known for folk-infused fingerpicked guitar harmonies and resonant, enveloping vocals. He caught the attention of esteemed producers Nico Muhly and Valgeir Sigurðsson, who assisted in the making of his 2011 debut, En Garde, released on Sigurðsson's Bedroom Community label. It received critical acclaim and garnered comparisons to other proficient songwriters. Magson returned in 2014 with his second full-length effort, Theatrics, which also received favorable reviews.
