In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is singing along to James Brown on the radio; then seeing him performing on TV. It was magical and in those moments, I knew I wanted to perform.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Primer, Grown in Mississippi Koko Taylor, Force of Nature Sam Cooke, Portrait of a Legend: 1951–1964 My choices include artist who inspired me my style of singing.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment was performing New Year's Eve at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely! I'd love to hear one of my songs in a movie.
