Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is sensing sound before understanding it—vibration, resonance, and silence shaping space. That intuitive experience became the foundation of my lifelong dialogue with the viola.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elvis Presley, Elv1s: 30 #1 Hits Mikhail Muntian, Yuri Bashmet, Yuri Bashmet: Brahms Sonatas Oasis, Definitely Maybe Oasis – Definitely Maybe: the soundtrack of my formative years. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing solo on La Stanza della Musica from Rai studios in Rome was unforgettable—the viola’s voice filling the space, fragile yet powerful, a moment of pure connection.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I hope to reveal the viola’s hidden voices, creating moments that transform sound into unexpected emotion.
