In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was influenced by the choir in my school, started practicing some of the songs at home and then a teacher got me in the group. I was moved by the practice and soon after, I asked my dad to get me a microphone that I started using.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Billie Eilish, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT Lana Del Rey, Lust for Life Sabrina Claudio, No Rain, No Flowers I think these albums got me through really tough times emotionally. 'No Rain, No Flowers' taught me how to love and embrace my sexuality. I understand that some of these albums were recently released but they healed me and shifted something in me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “you & i” My first song that I noticed people know. When I released it, my friend group sang the chorus to me loudly as I was walking towards them. Such a surreal experience to see people sing along the lyrics that's been with only you whole time.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I was first nominated for Best Pop Artist in Radio City Freedom Awards, I was working on my laptop, my sister was in the room with me. I got an email and I immediately started crying, my sister hugged me and cried with me after she found out.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are a lot of things that I really want to do as an artist, like I wanna work with huge producers and artists in person. Coming from a small town, I've been working on my music single-handedly, I wanna feel the experience of working in a studio.
