Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing the piano at my grandma's apartment as a young kid might be the earliest musical memory I have.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kate Bush, The Dreaming (2018 Remaster) Radiohead, Kid A The Shins, Chutes Too Narrow Chutes Too Narrow was the first album my dad played for me as a kid. It stuck with me. Kid A was the album that made me decide to pursue songwriting. The Dreaming is a recent find for me, but has been inspirational in its experimentation.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Normal Person” It's the first single! The audiences at my first few shows immediately connected with the frantic, neurotic pace and anthemic chorus on the tune and would point it out to me after gigs. I just knew it had to be the debut.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing State Park in Cambridge, MA is the highlight of our shows so far. Everything about the night, from the venue, to the other incredible bands, to the crowd, to the mood of the show was just perfect.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much left. Singles, EPs, live material, bootlegs, albums... We're just getting started!
