In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Music has been a major part of my life as far as I can remember, from the stories of me banging on pots, to me writing songs in high school, music helps me heal. I remember me and my cousins used to pretend we we're En Vogue and put on concerts.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Electrik Red, How to Be a Lady: Vol. 1 H.E.R., Back of My Mind (Apple Music Edition) Jazmine Sullivan, Heaux Tales, Mo' Tales: The Deluxe I think that each of these albums resonate with different periods of my life, and im always here for the girls lol. But these are 3 albums that I can play no matter how im feeling and feel good at the end.

Tell us why you chose this song. “strip me down” This song is special because it's an invitation for people to get to know me, without all the frills, the persona, the noise. I want people to get to know my soul, my passion. Not to be defined by things I am no longer invested or participating in.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So far, the most memorable moment was what it felt like to actually complete this series of albums. Each one was me working through things in real time. I dedicated a year of my life, to learning about myself, finding my voice and growing as a human.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I think that the next logical step would be to turn my words into visuals, and curate not only a story, but an experience of what it feels like to really work through things and be accountable. The music is just chapter one in this journey.
