What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Silkworm, Italian Platinum Spoon, Girls Can Tell Superdrag, Regretfully Yours How can I summarize my love of these records in 250 characters? That's as much of a fool's errand as picking only three all time favorites. I selected these three because they are absolute classics, masters in song craft and criminally overlooked.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hurry Up and Wait” Written about lockdown while being in lockdown. I really love John Davis' new band The Lees of Memory and I think this has a lot of that sound. I like the metaphor of sitting in traffic, it fits. A tribute to our friend Carmen (RIP)
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing people all over the world hear and react to the record is always something special. We never tire of that.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play a big festival. Tour internationally. Open for Guided By Voices. Record at Electrical Audio and work with Steve Albini. Record at Ardent. Get to play on SNL. We'll see how it goes.
