Since taking first prize at the Dublin International Piano Competition in 2015, French pianist Nathalia Milstein has delighted listeners with her easygoing virtuosity in solo and chamber settings. Most of her recordings have favoured the music of her homeland, whether she's balancing lightness with unerring precision on pieces by Ravel or injecting crisp drama into the violin sonatas of Camille Saint-Saëns in a duo with violin-playing sister Maria. Scaling the heady cello sonatas of Sergei Rachmaninoff with Korean cellist Hee-Young Lim, Milstein reveals her new dimensions and an evolving maturity.
