Considering Gojira's sound is all over the map, any mix breaking down their influences is bound to be super-diverse. The French band came of age blasting loads of death metal, thrash, and groove metal. Sepultura and Pantera definitely loom large over their aggro qualities, but, a little like Meshuggah, Gojira also incorporate many technical aspects inspired by progressive metal.
